“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, & you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem & in all Judea and Samaria, & to the ends of the earth.”

"Vision is a future orientation, an art of seeing things invisible".

“Put simply, we want to reach our Neighbours and the Nations with the Good news of Jesus.”

— Rudy Furlong

Our vision at Liberty is achievable through a band of brothers; a family of believers who,  through the values of friendship & partnership, enjoy similar values and journey together in seeing our vision accomplished.

“We see...”

- "People who know Jesus and make Him Known."

- We see a vibrant church that embraces organic life over organisational life. It requires a flexible church 'wine skin' (attitude). (Matt 9: 16-17)

- We see a vibrant church that opens its doors to the community in practical ways, a church that desires to be a healing community where people are loved, accepted and forgiven. (James 2:14-18)

- We see a vibrant church that loves our city and the wider church community (Matt 9: 35-38 & John 17: 20-22)

- We see a vibrant church that models a kingdom culture - the majority serving the minority, (1 Thess 1: 1-10 & Eph 4:16)

- We see a vibrant church that trains, equips and empowers believers to be all that God has designed for them. (Eph 4:11-16 & 2 Timothy 2: 2)

- We see a vibrant church that reaches the nations and disciples them as Jesus commanded. (Matt 28: 19-20)

To know Jesus and Make Him known.
